About Us

We design and craft jewelry made from precious stones. We are coral artisans with a long family tradition rooted in the heart of Torre del Greco. Our passion for creating unique and precious jewelry sets us apart in the industry, allowing us to combine traditional artisanal techniques with innovative designs. Each piece we create tells a story, the fruit of years of experience and dedication. We are committed to keeping the art of coral craftsmanship alive in our hometown (“made in Torre del Greco“), using only high-quality materials and respecting the sustainability of natural resources. Our mission is to offer jewelry that is not just an accessory, but a true piece of art to be worn.

Made from sustainable coral

Sustainable coral fishing and harvesting is a crucial step in protecting the marine environment. At a time when pollution and global warming threaten ocean biodiversity, it is essential to adopt practices that protect coral and the ecosystems that support it. Our collections, made with sustainable coral, reflect a deep commitment to protecting marine resources.

Some clarifications on the type of coral chosen

It is inaccurate to equate coral used in jewelry with coral from coral reefs, which, in reality, are not related at all. It is true that zoologists classify them within the same group (Cnidaria) and the same class (Anthozoa). This classification persists despite the fact that tropical corals from coral reefs are madrepores that live in surface waters, while the coral used in jewelry is a gorgonian, belonging to the Gorgonians family, typically found on rocky bottoms at depths of 10 to 15 meters or more. The five coral species used in jewelry, known for their hardness and compactness, include: CORALLIUM RUBRUM, JAPONICUM, ELATIUS, SECUNDUM, and KONJOI. None of these species originate from coral reefs. Corallium rubrum is widespread throughout the Mediterranean Sea. Commonly called Sardinian Coral or Mediterranean Coral, it can be found at depths of up to 200 meters and is generally red, with varying shades of light depending on its origin. Japanese coral, sometimes mistakenly labeled as one of the four native species of the Pacific Ocean, features colors ranging from the intense red of Japanese dark coral (AKA), to the pale pink of the renowned angel skin coral (BOKE), through the orange of CERASUOLO, and the pinkish white of DEEP SEA or MISSU. This coral is also found at significant depths, reaching 1,000–1,500 meters; for this reason, it is called DEEP SEA CORAL. Names in capital letters indicate commercial designations commonly recognized by professionals, similar to the designation MEDITERRANEAN CORAL.
